Five More Wedding Planning Ideas
Let us be honest and say that planning a wedding while it may be fun and exciting can be overwhelming and hard. There is so much to consider as well as so much that you do not even know about planning. Planning a wedding is such a coordinated effort by all of your vendors with your thoughts and ideas for your wedding day.
1. Separate your first dances so they are more special
Many times, the first dances are done one after another; however, it makes the dances much more special when you separate them to have them stand alone. Your guest will love all of them equally, but it definitely sets the right mood when you separate your wedding dances.
2. Do the first dance with the bride and the groom after the grand exit
The best way to schedule the first dance is after the grand exit because you have all your wedding guest’s complete attention. Rather than doing the rest of the first dances after the first dance with the bride and groom you should serve your guests their food. After the food is delivered you should do the speeches which gives time for your food to settle. If you have the dad of the bride give his speech last then after the dad of the bride deliveries his speech you can do the father-daughter dance. Another alternative is after every parent’s speech you have the first dance with that parent.
3. Make sure to include time for sunset pictures
Sunset pictures are probably the best pictures and film you will get on your wedding day from your wedding photographer and wedding videographer/cinematographer. The pictures will get will be the ones that you will frame around your house and share with your family for generations. Do yourself this favor and do not skip this part. Make sure that in the timeline that there is a time set aside for the sunset pictures or romantics as some people call them. You will thank us later because not only will they be frameable they will give your wedding videographer/cinematographer some beautiful content to add to your wedding film.
4. Plan a last dance with just you and your significant other
This is something that is not traditional but to us we believe it will add so much value. At the end of your wedding night you should have a last dance with no one around but you and your new husband/wife. This is a memory you will not soon forget. Especially if you have a beautiful venue that has a romantic spot perfect for this dance. Just remember this day is not about the guests, friends, or family it is about you and your significant other spending the day celebrating your love. Why not end your night whispering sweet nothings and kissing while dancing under the moonlight? This is a memory you will not want to skip out on.
5. Try to get as a venue that can give you extra hours after all the nuptials to dance and hang out
Our last tip is finding a venue that will let you have as many hours as possible to party with your friends and family in the A.M. Your wedding day only comes once so take advantage and have the time of your life. Many people that are important in our lives are very busy and do not have time to just spend like people set aside for a wedding day. So, make sure you take advantage and make memories that you can share with your friends and family. Memories full of laughter, fun, and friends.
