Four Ways to Add to Your Wedding to Make It Full of Fun and Laughter

If you are a bride reading this there is a good chance you had thought about and maybe even planned your wedding day already long before your significant other proposed to you. We know there are so many important things to consider when planning your wedding day; however, we believe that it is absolutely crucial to make sure to laugh and have fun on your wedding day. This blog will discuss five ways to inject more fun and less stress to your wedding day.

1.     Play the table-dash game

There are many names for this game, but the point of this game is what matters. Your goal

is to have your photographer capture a picture of you and each of your guests during the reception before the song playing ends. Not only does this give you some great pictures with all of your guests, but it makes it fun and quick to do so. This also gives your guests a chance to be a part of the wedding festivities and give them some memories to look back on afterwards.

2.     Plan to end the festivities sooner to get a lot of dancing and quality time with guests.

We know there is a lot of demand for your time on your wedding day. Your guests are obviously important to you which is why you invited them anyways. Why not create a wedding day timeline that gets all of the festivities done earlier to allow for more time for laughter and fun with your guests? At the end of the wedding day the only thing you will have left of your wedding is photos, film, and memories you have created on this special day. Make sure you are spending all your time, energy, and money (loads of it) on creating funny and amazing memories with those select individuals that you have brought together.

3.     Break from Tradition

There are many traditions that are passed down from generation to generation that are so important and there are many that are not important. You are the one that is going to decide how your wedding day timeline looks, so do yourself a favor and get creative with it. Some couples plan a coordinated funny dance for their first dance with their significant other or their parents. Some people have a guest sign in book that records a special message from each of their guests to be able to hear it over and over and pass on to your family for generations. No matter how you plan your wedding day make sure it is uniquely fitting for both you and your significant other to allow for the most laughter and fun.

4.     Make sure to schedule intimate moments for you and your significant other to be alone throughout the day.

This one may not seem to add so much fun and laughter as the other tips; however, if you are too stressed out it will take away from the laughter and fun. There are plenty of times throughout the day to add a five-minute break of alone time such as after the ceremony. You can plan to have someone bring you a drink and a small bite to eat for you and your significant other while you both have alone time. Sometimes the task of the day can overwhelm and stress out people where they think there is no time, but the guests won’t even know as they are off to cocktail hour. This also gives your wedding photographer and wedding cinematographer time to catch their breath and get ready for pictures.

We always look for simple tips that we can give that will add so much value to your wedding day, and we believe that if you focus on having fun you can create more beautiful memories that can captured and shared with your family. In the end of the day this is your day so why not have a great time.
