Why it is Important for You to Have a Wedding Contract for Your Vendors?
In today’s current world unfortunately, somebody’s word is not actually a bond or always a guarantee that they will honor your agreement unless it is being recorded as a voice contract. As a bride it is important for all of your vendors have contractual agreements that all parties sign (bride, groom, and the wedding vendor) to protect yourself and the company. In our contract we not only specify what we are guaranteeing our couples but we also specify what we cannot guarantee.
Our contract covers what will happen if we just so happen to get sick or hurt before your wedding day. This is so important as we know some brides that contacted us last second because for whatever reason the wedding photographer or the wedding videographer/cinematographer couldn’t make it and they did not have a replacement. This left the couple with no wedding photographer or wedding videographer/cinematographer which is so horrible.
This is such a special day for you and your significant other, and you want to be able to relive the moment over and over again via the photos and films produced of your wedding day. Regardless of whether or not you have a contract you do want to make sure you have a company that has a plan for emergencies and issues. Not all companies are created equal as not all companies have your best in mind.
This is not to say that companies are inherently evil or bad, but this is to say that when it comes to your precious memories you want them to have your best interest in mind. Our company Lunar Light Productions always guarantees our couples that we will be there no matter what whether its rain, shine, snowing, or whatever else may be present. We will honor our word and our agreement with you to deliver emotional powerful and beautiful films and pictures that will take you back to your precious moments and help you relive them over and over as you share them with your family for generations.
If you only have a phone conversation and no emails or texts with any proof of what you are guaranteed as a bride or groom, then you could be taken advantage of and not get the memories captured that you deserve on your wedding day. Many companies keep your photos and film on file for a year, but if it is not stated on your wedding contract how do you know how long they will keep it for you? We make sure to specify the amount of time that we will guarantee to have the footage or pictures on file for, so you as a couple can have a rested assurance to know that we will have you covered.
In the end this your wedding day and you are going to want the confidence to know that all of your vendors will present making sure you have a great wedding full of fun, laughter, and joy. We believe that your wedding day memories should be captured and preserved because in the end of your life the only true legacy you have is what you memories you leave behind for your family to carry on.
