Five Creative Wedding Guest Sign in Ideas

This blog will go over five creative ways to make a guest sign in book for your wedding. Sign in books are not only a great way to get messages from your family and friends on your wedding day, but they are also a great way to have a list of people to send thank-you cards on your wedding day. We love unique weddings, so we are always looking for unique ways for our couples to be able to celebrate their love.

1.     Star Chart Sign In

For our wedding we had a star chart made from the exact night of the wedding. We did this because my wife Priscilla loves stars and it was cool to see how the exact night sky looked on our wedding night. We had all of our guests sign the surrounding area and had a quote on the bottom of the page of something I say to Priscilla a lot.

2.     Wedding Guest Sign In made from Recycled Bourbon Barrel

For this type of guest sign in you have a wood panel piece with either your initials or your new last name with the initial engraved in the center. This is a great piece to use if you are having your wedding at a vineyard or winery or just to have a rustic looking wedding. You would just have all of your guests sign on the panels and leave messages.

3.     Big Heart with Little Hearts

This is a lot more common to see, but with this one there is a bunch of little hearts that you have your guests sign on. They will then put the little hearts into the bigger heart to show how your guests fill both of your hearts and are very important to you.

4.     Polaroid Guest Sign In

For every guest that comes to your wedding you would have a polaroid camera for your guests to take a picture of themselves put it into a book with slots for the pictures to go as well as have them sign in with a message.

5.     Guest Sign in Recording

This is by far one of our favorite ideas. This is a phone that has a recording device attached to it. As each guest comes in they will be instructed to pick up the phone and leave a message to the couple. This can be paired with the polaroid guest sign in to not only have a written message from your guests but also a voice recording. Hearing someone’s voice is so invaluable as we have lost a couple people in our family, and if were able to hear their voices from our wedding day we would probably be in tears right now.

Sometimes we take advantage of the time we have the ones we love, but no one will be with you forever that is why it is important to have photos, film, and even voice recordings of the people we love. We believe in passing on our photos and film to be shared with your family for generations, and this is why we shoot weddings is to provide you with these time capsules to share with your family.
