Temecula Wedding Coordinator
Let’s be honest planning a wedding can be down right exhausting. As exciting and exhilarating as it is when to find the perfect venue or find the most amazing wedding photographer you must first sort through all of the potential vendors hoping to find one that you fall in love with.
We are a husband and wife wedding photo and video team which means we have already been through the marriage planning process. We know what it is like to sort through the hundreds of different vendors to check that particular wedding vendor off of your list. We also know what it is like to not know the importance of a wedding planner and coordinator on our wedding day. Had we had a wedding planner and coordinator the wedding day it would have gone smoother and we would have had some of the appetizers saved for us to eat. However, with no wedding coordinator present there were plenty of hitches that we had to work out (almost every wedding has one).
We believe that the most important vendors for your wedding day is the wedding venue, the wedding photo and film team, and the wedding coordinator and planner. If you know where you want to have your wedding then you should book the venue first; however, if you are unsure about the particular location then we recommend booking the wedding planner and coordinator. They can help you find the ideal location that will fit your budget while fitting all of your other important criteria such as being able to have the ceremony and reception at the same location and many other things.
Since we know the importance of a great wedding planner and coordinator we sat down with Jenifer the CEO as well as the Wedding planner from Classic Style Events. She is the wedding planner and coordinator on our preferred vendors list and comes highly recommended. We were so excited to sit down and be able to ask some questions that we believe will benefit you and help you on your wedding planning journey
Why is it important to have a wedding day planner and coordinator?
The Wedding planner and coordinator is your biggest advocates on your wedding day as well as the time leading up to your wedding day. They will make sure everything works smoothly when planning your wedding and make sure they put out fires on your wedding day such as if a vendor doesn’t show up or if a vendor shows up without the correct product as specified by the contract. They act as line backers on your wedding day to put out any fires that arise as well as help make sure everything runs on time.
They also will act as your advocate to keep everything on track by reminding you about times and run interference when you should be doing one thing but there are multiple people or things that are trying to take your attention. A great wedding day coordinator and planner will make sure everything runs smoothly and on time while at the same time maximizing the amount of time you get to spend partying with your family and friends on such a magnificent occasion.
Other things that the wedding day coordinator will assist you with is making sure you have food and drinks throughout the night, so you can focus more on time spent with guests and less on those small details. They not only save you time but money as they also advocate for you with wrangling your guests. An example of this is that some venues only allow alcohol at certain locations, and if alcohol is present outside of that location this can lead to fines on you. The wedding day coordinator will be your advocate during these times to ensure everyone stays where they need to which will save you money. The wedding day planner and coordinator has many functions on the wedding day, but some of these functions include:
· 1. Keeping things on track:
A great wedding day coordinator will help keep things on track, so you do not have your vendors stay longer because things are falling behind schedule. This also ensures optimal time spent with your friends and family that have reserved this day to spend celebrating with you both
· 2. Keeping you supplied:
They assist you to think of things and handle the supply chain with the venue, so you can focus on your day and not on that fact that there is not enough water for your guests for example. They also make sure that your vendors provide what they guaranteed you they would provide.
· 3. Managing Your Food Vendor:
Sometimes the food is not served on time which can cause problems, but a coordinator will assist you to handle every vendor including the food to make sure it comes out on time. They regulate the vendors to stay on time and do what they need to do. They also will make sure that the vendors are feed on time so that there is no delay in the festivities and pictures. Especially if you want to catch those beautiful sunset pictures
· 4. Managing All of Your Vendors:
They will advocate for your vendors as well to make sure any problems that arise with your vendors are solved such as electrical issues with your DJ and other problems that will just cause stress and delay. They are an invaluable resource to run your day without you having to know everything that goes wrong. Even if there were 100 fires on your wedding day you won’t have to stress about most of them.

What is partial planning, full planning, and event management?
Partial Wedding Planning:
This is when they have an idea of what they want for the design and style but they need someone in the industry to help you find quality vendors or even be the go to contact for your vendors to reduce the stress. She will be the go to person on the wedding day to make sure everything goes smooth and happens on time as well.
Full Wedding Planning:
This type of wedding planning is when you need help with everything from creating design and style, finding the best vendors, help booking the vendors, and all of the other small details taken care of.
Wedding Event management:

The importance of a wedding planner and coordinator is to not only help you plan and organize your wedding day, but they help to manage and handle all of your wedding vendors. They are an advocate for you on your wedding day, so you and your family and friends can enjoy the day without having to handle anything that can or will go wrong on your wedding day.
What is the difference between what you do and a day of coordinator provided for us by the venue?
There needs to be someone there to take care of everything, but the day of coordinator at the venue is only there to make sure their venue is taken care of. For example, if a pipe breaks at the venue the day of coordinator handles that. The venues coordinator does not handle and manage the other vendors. They only take care of their own affairs.
They might even help you create a timeline for your day; however, they will not account for every detail that you want. They will just create a general timeline of events that need to happen. A wedding planner and coordinator covers the entire wedding day which also includes the nitty gritty details such as when vendors eat and other important things.
What is a pain point that brides struggle with that you assist them with?
When or if something does go wrong the vendors call the wedding coordinator not you the bride. Not having a wedding day coordinator results in you or one of your family members or bridal party having to figure out the problems. This is an unnecessary stress for you on your wedding day. We cannot repeat this enough that a great wedding day coordinator will put out all of the fires for you and make sure everything gets taken care of without having to stress you out. There will always be fires to put out but a great coordinator will take of them without feeling the stress of it.
How does a coordinator help with planning in advance?
Even if you have done all of the work to plan your wedding you still want to enjoy the day. Jenifer offers a 45-minute phone call each month leading up to the wedding to make sure everything is going according to plan as well as to get all of the nitty gritty details to make sure everything will go smooth on this important day.
Let’s be honest most people do not know how to really plan the day or plan the events. Planners and coordinators have the experience and know how to make sure your wedding day flows nicely and you can still enjoy the fun parts of your wedding day.
The best coordinators work and flow with the wedding vendors to ensure that everyone is going great and the bride and groom are having a fun time. They are worth every cent because they help you plan the wedding without a headache.
Another reason to have a wedding planner and coordinator is to get advice on what you need to have for your wedding day and what is something that might be on your list for things to add if the budget allows. They also help you organize the timing and flow to make sure you have enough time on the wedding day with all of your wedding day vendors. It is easy to try to shove everything into a small window; however, on your wedding day this can cause chaos as there are many things that can and will go wrong.
How do you plan the wedding?
First, figure out what is important on your wedding day. Is it the DJ? Is it the photographer? Is it the cinematographer? Your budget should be focused exclusively based on what you find important for your wedding day as a couple. If the wedding photographer is the most important vendor for you than the budget should be heavily lean towards making sure you have a wedding photographer that is experienced and will provide you with breathtaking pictures to look back on over and over again.
What do you want people to rave about on your wedding day? The bulk of your budget must go to the most important vendors first. Listing the order of importance for the vendors helps to decide where more of the budget for your wedding day will go to.
Do you also help to run & organize the rehearsal?
Absolutely! The rehearsal is an important part. It allows your wedding coordinator to coach your bridal party to help eliminate distractions and mistakes on your wedding day. There are some important details such as how close your bride maids and grooms’ men should be standing next to each other during the ceremony for the pictures to look the best as well as other important details that you do not have the time or energy to focus on. They will coach the wedding party and yourselves on many aspects to help your wedding day run smoothly.
What is the process of booking with you?

What should they know before booking with you?
The couple should come with their wedding date as well as the general budget for their wedding day. The details they are looking for. Are they looking for someone to run the day? Are they looking for someone to plan every detail? Do you know which vendors you want and know you just need someone to organize and lock in those vendors for you?
