So here are some tips on organizing your wedding timeline to help ease the stress of planning your day.
1. Always give yourself more time then you think you need for each event.
Most of the time when you make a timeline you want everything to go according to plan, but on the wedding day there is plenty of things that will take longer than you anticipated. When planning the wedding make sure you include more time for each festivity than you originally anticipate to account for anything that could happen to make you late. If everything does go according to plan than you can enjoy the extra time to spend time with your guests at the end of the night.
2. Plan a grand entrance that is followed immediately by the first dance
The best way to plan your first dance is to have it immediately once you enter the reception hall after your grand entrance. You have everyone’s attention at this time, which will make it easier to do and make it that much more special.
3. Give yourself fifteen minutes after the ceremony to have alone time with your significant other.
Your wedding day will go extremely quick, so if you can take ten to fifteen minutes throughout the day to relish the moment with your significant other you will enjoy it that much more. Many people rush through all of the festivities and events throughout the wedding day that they actually forget to enjoy each moment. This is a special day, and you do not the beauty of the day to be washed away by stress and rush of the day. As a bride you have been planning this day since you were a child. Take time to really enjoy and soak in all of the fun from the day.
4. Get as much done as soon as possible to make more time for dancing
You do not want to drag out all of festivities of the wedding where it consumes all of your night. At some point you just want to enjoy the moment and actually spend quality time with the guests that you have invited and that have reserved an entire day just for you. The best thing that you can do is to show your guests that you value their time by getting as much of the festivities done as quick as possible to spend more time dancing, laughing, and enjoying their presence. Sometimes there is so many traditions like the bouquet toss, the garter toss, and others that take time from your day. It is easy to think that all of those bridal shots, getting ready shots, and other shots before the ceremony will be quick; however, always give yourself more time than you think you need. This allows you to enjoy every moment and grants the wedding photographer and wedding cinematographer time to capture all of your details in the perfect way. Your wedding photographer and cinematographer will have plenty of time to get some beautiful shots of you putting on makeup, doing your hair, hanging out with your brides’ maids, hanging out with your mom, and even a first look with your significant other or dad if you want it. These details are not something you want to rush or miss as these pictures will be something you will look back on later and be grateful you had someone to capture them for you.

There is a reason that the golden hour photos are so talked about and done. They are literally some of the most beautiful shots you will have captured. These pictures and film will be some intimate romantic moments of the just you and your significant other that you do not want to miss. We believe these are our favorite moments from weddings because this is where the bride and groom can just be themselves and be vulnerable in front of their significant other.
7. Keep the number festivities to a minimum
We have seen so many times when a bride has a laundry list of festivities that she wants to put in her wedding, but your wedding only has so many hours in the day. The more you try to pack on this day the less time you have to spend with your family and friends that you have invited. It is best to only keep the essential festivities that you and your significant other find important. Why waste your time on a tradition that both of you do not really care for?
8. Have fun
Our last tip is most important. This is your wedding day and it only happens once. Have the best time of your life. You and your significant other will never forget how amazing a time you had so make sure to spend it right. Your guests that you have invited are so happy to celebrate you so make sure you spend as much time as you can with the ones that matter the most.
