Three Things People Don’t Realize On Their Wedding Day

As you are planning your wedding day you will spend a lot of time planning to make sure the details are flawless and beautiful. You make sure you have the perfect wedding photographer and cinematographer as well as all of the other vendors such as florists, planners, the perfect venue, and even the perfect catering for your big day. Often times you spend so much time planning out your wedding day to fit all of the nuptials into this one day and all of it can get so stressful on you and your significant other. The stress will get to you so remember to take a deep breath and enjoy the planning process as this is you planning your big day. While all of this planning is necessary there are a couple of things that most people forget about on their big day that is so important to remember. This blog is about three things that people forget about on their wedding day that hopefully will help you to be able enjoy your wedding day more as well as not be as stressed out when your big day comes.

  1. The wedding day goes so fast so be sure to book the longest hour package from your venue as possible to have plenty of time to party it up with your guests.

Often times we spend so much effort planning for the formalities of the wedding that we do not put much effort into ensure there is plenty of time to party and have fun, but this is your wedding day and it is supposed to be fun and merry. One way to get the most out of your venue is to ask for as many hours as possible from all of the venues and find one that can accommodate for extended hours to ensure you have that time to laugh, party, and be merry on your wedding day. This request might cause the cost of your venue to go up; however, you only get married once and you do not want to think back on your wedding day and not have a lot of memories of fun, laughter, and dancing with all of the people that have supported you up until this point in your life.

2. Since the day goes so fast make sure to take time for yourself and your significant other every so often throughout the day.

Your wedding day will go so fast that when you look back it will feel like a blur. If you are not careful something that is meant to be fun can become so stressful. One way to alleviate this stress is to take a few minutes throughout the day to have a moment of alone time with you and your significant other. For example, after the ceremony is done and you have kissed and sealed your marriage in front of all of your friends and family step off to the side get a quick snack and a drink and sit down for a couple of minutes. This may seem like a waste of time, but this small task will give you and your significant other a chance to relish the moment (after all you just officially got married). Everybody on your wedding day is literally waiting for you which means you can choose to have five minutes to enjoy yourself. Also remember everyone else is too busy eating the h’orderves and refreshments and getting their drinks on.

3. Nothing happens on time so be sure to make your sure your timeline gives plenty of cushion room for things that come up

Nothing on a wedding almost ever happens on time, so do yourself a favor and do not pack everything on your wedding day plan so tight. Always give plenty of cushion room to enjoy each and every moment as you only get married once. The last thing you want is to be so behind on your timeline that you are literally stressing yourself out, for this day is meant for you to enjoy it is your day to laugh, love, and be merry. One way to ensure you have plenty of time on your wedding day timeline is to run it by your wedding planner, wedding photographer, or wedding cinematographer because chances are they have done this before and can give you some tips on how to optimize your timeline to ensure an amazing day.
